Last night I added to this image in my collection of Fine Art Photography for sale at Discovered Artists. I’m restructuring the pricing and numbers in the limited edition series, as all my fine art photos for sale are truly limited edition.
I’m thinking that this blog will become heavily focused on my road to becoming a successful Fine Art Photographer including everything from tools, process, advertising streams, marketing, submissions to galleries…
I don’t want this to become a tutorial of sorts, but more of a bench mark tool for myself and perhaps a guide for other aspiring artists if they so choose. I’m afraid that there will be many bumps along the way, many mistakes will be made, lot’s of second guessing, but I will be as transparent as I can because I feel that I need to be.
As of right now there aren’t many readers to this blog which is fine. Truthfully I haven’t advertised it much because I’d hate to build a readership based on inconsistant content and post frequency. So I’ll be tracking stats on this blog for you (more for myself) in an effort to be transparent because running a successful blog and utilizing social media is gonna be key to selling Fine Art online.
In addition, because I feel that I will be able to further utilize the success of my photography tutorial blog to help boost my career path, I will be discussing those stats and marketing strategies as well.
It’s amazing how many contacts I’ve made through that blog that will help me get to where I want to be. Plus it’s provided a source of inspiration from my readers as well as forcing me to research my industry in closer detail and stay up to date with current trends in the photography industry.

Second, third and fourth guessing no doubt. My company has been a constant cycle of growth, contraction and regrowth for 5 years now. The secret (so I am told) is having the stamina, discipline and courage to ride out the waves.
